Harrods will come alive with a colourful Diwali lights display next week

Harrods will mark Diwali with three evenings of illuminations from 6–8 November 2026, bringing color and movement to its Brompton Road façade. The display begins at 4 pm each evening, giving visitors a chance to enjoy the Festival of Lights outside one of London’s best-known department stores.

Returning for its second year, the light show forms part of a wider Diwali program combining food, music, beauty and gifts. Visitors heading inside over the weekend can enjoy live flute performances, sample tea from Harrods and try food from Viras and chocolatier Läderach. Beauty counters will also offer Diwali-inspired make-up looks.

For anyone looking for a personalized keepsake, artist and calligrapher Sai Banerjee will decorate purchased Harrods Collection candles with messages or festive motifs. The service runs on the Lower Ground Floor from 4 pm–9 pm on Friday and Saturday, and 1 pm–6 pm on Sunday.

The Food Halls also offer a seasonal treat to discover. Harrods’ Diwali Saffron Milk Cake takes inspiration from barfi, pairing saffron-soaked sponge with Chantilly cream and Dulcey pearls. It offers another reason to make time for a visit before stepping outside for the evening display.

To plan your visit, see the Harrods Diwali program for individual activity details and timings.
